We've watched substitute players shiver uncontrollably on freezing Saturday mornings, resulting in pulled hamstrings the moment they sprinted onto the pitch. We've seen referees desperately trying to keep their match notes dry under inadequate umbrellas, and medics forced to strap injuries in the pouring rain.
The noticeable drop in player performance and concentration isn't just an excuse; it's a direct result of environmental exposure. Yet, for years, the only solution was to either suffer in silence or spend thousands on heavy, dangerous, permanent perspex structures that local councils refuse planning permission for anyway.

We obsessed over the grade of the TPU pneumatic tubes. We demanded fire-retardant 420D Oxford cloth. We tested the anchor points against storm-force gales. Every single feature exists because we experienced a failure with something else in the past, and resolved to engineer it out of our product entirely.
